Prevost was dominant in his start on Friday morning, and is an arm to follow as he continues to develop. The fastball worked 79-82 T83 mph with ride to get in-zone swings and misses. Playing off his fastball, Prevost maintained arm speed to throw a sharp curveball that froze hitters and earned awkward swings. Also showed exceptional feel for the zone, throwing strikes at a 73% mark throughout his five innings of work.
INF/RHP Mason Prevost (Bay Port, 2026) is an intriguing two-way prospect from our event in Green Bay. Listed at an athletic 5-foot-8, 145 pounds, Prevost showed good proportions and a projectable build. A right-handed hitter, he has a simple set up, with a direct hand path and bat speed (68.4 mph), one of the highest at the event for his class. He used his strong hands and bat speed to record a max exit velocity of 85.5 mph. Defensively, on the infield, Prevost recorded a max velocity of 76 mph on throws to first. During his bullpen, he showed a four-pitch arsenal with a fastball that sat 78-80 mph (80.2 max) with cut action; his curveball showed 11/5 shape with big break; his slider showed 10/4 shape with sweeping break; he rounded out the mix he showed a changeup that also flashed cut, similar to the fastball.
