Miller

Miller is a well-proportioned 6-foot-1, 190-pound athlete with room to tack strength onto his frame. Miller found the barrel multiple times throughout his BP round and his 90.10 mph average exit speed in BP, per TrackMan, was the second-highest of our Top Prospect-Milwaukee event. He translated that raw juice into gameplay, where he swatted a home run into the left-center gap.

Positional Profile: 3B/1B
Body: 5-11, 190-pounds. Strong, well-proportioned frame.
Hit: RHH. Balanced setup in the box, hands start back, short stride to even.  Simple stroke, easily repeats. Short path to contact, line drive approach.
Power: 91.23 max exit velocity, averaged 85.51 mph. 249’ max distance.
Arm: RH. C -  mph. INF - 78 mph. OF -  mph. Quick arm circle, high 3/4 finish.
Defense: Works around the baseball, fields low to the ground, glove hand works out front and funnels inward. Defends in rhythm up the middle. Clean exchange, quick to release, plays through.
Run: 7.73 runner in the 60.

Body: 5-11, 185-pounds. Strength in frame, especially lower half.
Hit: RHH. Wide base, hands set high, front foot open. Weight-shift load back, strides closer to even but lands open. Short, level bat path with extension through contact; works the middle of the field with his contact.
Power: 84 mph exit velocity from the tee.
Arm: RH. INF - 77 mph. Long arm action from an over-the-top slot.
Defense: Deliberate footwork to the baseball, arrives in a good fielding position. Steady hands and actions.
Run: 7.82 runner in the 60.

Body: 5-foot-11, 185-pounds.
Hit: RHH. Balanced setup, simple and relaxed, short stride. Short path to the baseball, slight uphill through contact, loose hands and repeatable swing plane.
Power: 85 mph exit velocity from the tee.
Arm: RH. INF - 79 mph. Accurate arm, plays out of over the top slot, short arm action.
Defense: Third base profile, deliberate actions at times, works from the waist, hands showed softness and quick to funnel.
Run: 7.67 runner in the 60. 

Body: 5-foot-7, 160-pounds.

Run: 8.13 runner in the 60. 
Hit: RHH. Balanced setup, stance is slightly open, soft stride, relaxed pre pitch. Easy swing, slight uphill path, makes line drive contact in BP.
Power: 81 mph exit velocity from the tee. 
Defense: Plays through baseball, average hands, showed above average body control for age.
Arm: RH. INF - 75 mph. Over the top slot, long arm action.

3.15.17 - 5-foot, 130-pound, corner infielder. Defensively, right-handed, short arm action, high ¾ arm slot, 59 mph across the infield. Offensively, right-handed, balanced setup, short stride, maintains balance, gap-to-gap hitter, 68 mph exit velocity off a tee. Ran a 9.29 60.
