RHP/2B Nicky Vitucci (Whitefish Bay, 2028) featured a repeatable delivery from the stretch only. He gets to a coiled balance point from a higher leg kick and drives down the mound with a strong lower half. His medium arm draw and high 3/4 slot generated a fastball that sat 85-86 mph, topping at 86 mph, with an average spin of 2,127 rpm and notable running action through the hitting zone. He showed a slurvy slider at 72-74 mph (2,230 rpm avg spin) with a short bite and feel for the zone with the ability to get chase out of the zone as well. Vitucci's changeup stood out as an out-pitch weapon at 75-76 mph, exhibiting sinking action and heavy fade. Vitucci is a prospect that has a high ceiling and high floor and our staff is excited about viewing him in game.

+ INF/RHP Nicky Vitucci (Whitefish Bay, 2028) is a lean 6-foot-1, 158-pound two-way that showed well this past weekend. At the plate, the right-handed hitter took easy and controlled swings with feel to leverage the baseball in the air especially to the middle of the field. Defensively Vitucci showed clean action, with soft hands with an accurate arm up to 88 mph. On the mound, the arm worked with arm speed and showed overall feel for the zone with three pitches. His fastball sat 82 mph throughout his entire pen with running action, showing a tight breaking curveball in the low-70s with downer action, as well as a heavy fading changeup.
