On the mound works from a high ¾ arm angle with a long, loose arm action. Throws easy, tall and fall delivery. Slow paced delivery short stride, with some rhythm. Online, square landing. Fastball with plus sink sat 79-81. Sweeping curveball with slurve shape sat 67-69 mph. Erratic command.
5.8.14 - 6-foot-5, 205-pound two-way player with upside. At the plate he hits from a tall and balanced stance, smooth backward loading action, quality balance through contact. Has a powerful, pull side swing and approach with a quick bat through the zone. Exit velocity was 82 mph off a tee. At first base showed solid hands and feet around the bag. Arm works short, 75 mph. On the mound the delivery works smooth with regular effort and strong direction. Arm works short, high ¾ slot. Fastball showed some life, 74-77 mph with cut and sink. Throws a curveball at 61-63 mph, lacks consistent identity still.

Creates well above average bat speed, 88 mph exit velocity from the tee. Pull power approach, shows the ability to make strong contact. Defensively plays with a long arm action around the bag, 75 mph across the infield. Average hands, shows some feel for the bag. On the mound fastball sits 74-78 mph occasional cut action. Curveball had sweeping action, slurve feel, 64-65 mph. Changeup displayed sink at 69-71 mph.
7/23/13 - Advanced frame, 6-foot-4, 195-pound two way player. Projects well at the plate. Hits from an open stance, short stride, excellent balance throughout. Showed pop to both gaps, ball jumps off his bat. Made hard contact against live pitching. Defensively showed some natural footwork around the bag, hands worked, 71 mph arm across the diamond. On the mound arm worked from a ¾ arm slot, long action. Fastball featured cut action, 74-76 mph, showed control. Curveball had control, 65-68 mph, thrown with fastball similar arm action, more slider action.
1/27/13 - Athletic body, strong lower half, 6-foot-4, 190-pound two way player. On the mound delivery shows some effort, tall and fall approach, balance point stays tall, weight shifts to heels. Arm slot is over the top, arm action shows moderate athleticism. Fastball is straight, thrown for strikes, 70-71 mph. Throws two breaking pitches. Curveball and slider show good separation in action and velocity. Curveball has 11/5 shape, gradual action, needs tighter action, 61-63 mph. Slider shows flat sweeping action, 67-68 mph. Also throws split finger fastball, 67-69 mph, showed some feel. Offensively hits from open stance, short stride. Lower half is active, line drive approach.
