So. LHP/1B Seth Lingford (East Troy) stood out as a two-way prospect to know. A 6.90 runner, Lingford took a loud round of batting practice, achieving a peak exit velocity of 101.8 mph and an average exit velocity of 89.5 mph with a peak distance of 400’. On the mound, the fastball worked up to 89 mph, the curveball worked in the mid-70s and averaged 2,653 rpm with a low-80s changeup to round off the arsenal. Sophomore to know as he looks to impact the ball on both sides of the field for the Bobcats this season.

+ FR. LHP/DH Seth Lingford (East Troy, WI) is another upside freshman arm for the Bobcats. Standing at a strong and athletic 6-foot-2, 200-pound frame with board shoulders. The left-hander flashed feel to repeat his delivery, working down the mound with a crossfire finish, the arm worked quick and uninterrupted with noticeable arm speed from a 3/4 slot. The fastball sat 85-87 mph flashing carry up in the zone, averaging 16.5” of IVB. Showed feel to spin a quality breaking ball at 72-75 mph with an average spin rate of 2,561 rpms and -7.7” of IVB. His slider was thrown in the same velo bucket with right two-plane action, rounding off his arsenal Lingford flashed a fading changeup with -15.5” of HM.

Lingford was also a standout position player, starting the day running a 6.85 60-yard dash with easy speed. At the plate, taking perhaps the best round of the day launching multiple home runs from the left-side with consistent hard and elevated contact to the pull side reaching a max exit velo of 101.2 mph with a peak distance of 383 feet.
