9/23/19: Strong armed 6-foot-2, 230 pound RHP Theron Denlinger pumped his heater up to 95 mph, sitting 92-93, but hit two batters and walked another during his one inning of relief. His 79-80 mph slider was short with fair action at the plate. Has deception in his delivery with short arm action and the ball jumps to the plate, but he struggled to repeat his downhill delivery giving him an inconsistent release point and erratic control. Based on his arm strength alone, Denlinger will likely be given a pro opportunity this June.
