Notes

Comments

9/23/18 - 6-foot-3, 220-pound, left-handed pitcher, thick, strong frame. Tall, sturdy balance point, slight sit on back side, works in line to home, toe lands square and spins open, heavy leg swing and spin-off towards third at finish, some rhythm. Arm plays short and clean, arm gradually speeds through a high ¾ window, regular effort. Fastball, flashed run in the zone, downhill with late life in-game, 79-82 mph, topped 84 mph. Curveball, 1/7 shape, near fastball arm speed, 68-71 mph. Changeup, cuts out of the hand, played 72-75 mph.

5/12/18 - 6-foot-3, 210-pound left-handed pitcher, large build. Delivery maintains balance, works cross body, finishes to third base side. Arm action is long, loose arm, quick arm speed out of a high ¾ slot. Fastball runs hard to arm side, occasional tilt, 84-85 mph. Curveball has 1/7 shape, 67-70 mph. Slider is similar to curveball action, slightly flatter at times, 69-71 mph.

8/22/17 - 6-foot-3, 210-pound left-handed pitcher, large frame and build. Delivery is simple and repeatable, closed toe landing to over rotated finish. Arm action is loose and easy, ¾ slot. Showed feel for three pitches. Fastball finishes firm, slight arm side run, 77-79 mph. Curveball has sweeping action, 66-69 mph. Feel for changeup, sinking action, 67-71 mph.
