Positional Profile: OF Quick twitch athletic outfielder with offensive upside. Schreiber could find himself amongst the middle to upper half of the 2020 outfielders. Body: 6-foot-2, 190-pounds. Strong and built. Hit: LHH. Slightly open and balanced stance. Minimal load with a slight bat wrap. Short and quick leg kick. Good balance throughout. Showed fast bat speed with his in/out quick swing. Got his hands to the ball with consistent line drive production. Power: 95 mph exit velocity from the tee. Strong swing during BP and hit 95mph off of the tee. Schreiber is a little stiff in the shoulders but once he learns to relax his upper body, he projects to be a strong middle of the order hitter at the next level. Arm: LH. OF - 81 mph. Long and loose arm action. Comes out of a high 3/4 slot. Showed some carry and accuracy. Defense: Flashed slightly above average hands with a clean exchange. His throws are strong but he has room to improve his footwork. If Schreiber can grow into his footwork and get the ball out quicker by eliminating his second set of shuffles, he projects to be a solid outfielder at the college level. Run: 6.98 runner in the 60.

7/11/19
A 6-foot, 200-pound left/left prospect with athleticism and a strong lower half. After a strong season for a McFarland team that upset its way to a state tournament appearance, Schreiber has continued to stir some of our attention. He swings a strong left-handed bat with a pull-side approach, average bat speed, above-average quality of contact. Schreiber is also an instinctual baserunner and defender and always seems a step ahead of his opposition.
