In a game that Lightning Gold controlled until the 7th inning, the TC Yard Dawgs came out on top with a 7-6 victory in 8 innings. The TC Yard Dawgs got going when Thompson left the game, and scored 3 runs in the top of the 5th inning off RBI singles from 2019 C Hank Bard (Kentucky), and a ground rule double by 2019 DH Ryan Stohr (Air Force). 2018 1B Sam Beecher would give the Lightning Gold back the lead with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the 5th. Going into the 7th, the Lightning Gold held a 6-3 lead, but the TC Yard Dawgs would tie the game highlighted by Bard's RBI' double. Then in the 8th, Stohr would drive in the winning run with a single.
