3/26/19

Committed to Indiana State. Ranked No. 10 in PBR Colorado's 2019 rankings. Magill is off to a very good start in 2019. In 29 at bats Magill already has 17 hits hitting .586, and has driven in 16 runs. Simple, slightly open set up at the plate.  Magill used to have a big leg kick and stride to come square, but now stride is short and hands whip through the zone creating good gap to gap power. In past events Magill had a 91 mph exit velocity off a tee. Magill twice came up with the bases loaded and drove two doubles to deep left center field. Magill is an excellent receiver who shows an outstanding ability to control the game and to block very well. In between innings pop-times ranged from 1.85 to 1.91 down to second.

Committed to Indiana State. Currently ranked No. 8 in Colorado's 2019 rankings. 6-foot, 185 pounds.  Bats and throws right.  Magill is an excellent receiver who shows an outstanding ability to control the game and to block very well. With no opportunity to throw today, he still exhibits a sub 2.0 pop time with solid mechanics and accuracy and is developing the ability to throw to all bases from his knees with a great deal of effectiveness.  His hands are soft and his receiving is improving all of the time. Magill is hitting. .465 on the season with 2 homeruns.
