PBR Colorado strives to be the most comprehensive source of player information across the state. The Prep Baseball Report is the No. 1 resource for high school baseball in each state we cover through our variety of events, boots-on-the-ground scouting staff, daily coverage, and multimedia platforms. Our multimedia platforms and events work in tandem, ultimately creating the most powerful source of high school baseball promotion in each state. While other organizations take a national approach, our goal is to become the authoritative voice on the ground level of each state.

COLORADO COACH OF THE YEAR: MATT DARR, REGIS JESUIT

COLORADO PITCHER OF THE YEAR: GRAHAM OSMAN, COLORADO ACADEMY

COLORADO PLAYER OF THE YEAR: SAM IRELAND MOUNTAIN VISTA

 

CATCHER

GRANT MAGILL C / MOUNTAIN VISTA, CO / 2019

Committed to Indiana State. One of the top defensive catchers in the state, Magill has pop-times that are consistently 1.9 off the pitcher. Arm velo behind the dish is 78 mph. On the season Magill hit .474 with 5 HR, 9 doubles, and 39 RBI's. 

 

 

 

1ST BASE

JACK MOSS 3B / RHP / CHERRY CREEK, CO / 2020

Committed to Virginia. An athletic first baseman who helped lead Cherry Creek back to the 5A state championship game, Moss was Cherry Creek's leading hitter. Moss hit .490 on the season with 13 doubles, 3 triples and 31 RBI's. 


 

 

 


DESIGNATED HITTER

CADEN WAGNER 1B / REGIS JESUIT, CO / 2019

Committed to Penn State. Wagner was the main run producer for the 5A state champion Regis Jesuits. Wagner tied for the state lead in homeruns with 10 while also hitting .404 and driving in 39 runs. 

 

 

 

LINCOLN ANDREWS 1B / RHP / CANON CITY, CO / 2019

Committed to Southeast Missouri State. Andrews put up video game like numbers at Canyon City. The big left-handed hitting first baseman hit .638 and hit 10 homeruns  while also driving in 43 runs. 

 

 


MIDDLE INFIELDERS

JUSTIN BOYD SS / OF / LEGEND , CO / 2019

Committed to Oregon State. Boyd is the definition of a 5-tool player. Boyd can run (have had run a 6.54 laser timed 60). Boyd has shown advanced bat speed with a 97 mph exit velo in past events. Boyd this year hit .487 with 10 doubles, 6 HR, and 31 RBI's 
 

 

 

 

 

DREW STAHL 2B / SS / MOUNTAIN VISTA HIGH SCHOOL, CO / 2019

Committed to Minnesota. Drew Stahl has been one of the top middle infielders in our state the last 3 years. Providing power from the position, Stahl this year hit .391 with 8 homeruns and led the Golden Eagles with 40 RBI's. 


 

 

 


THIRD BASE


BRODIE BLACKFORD 3B / 1B / PUEBLO WEST, CO / 2020

Uncommitted. Blackford helped lead Pueblo West to their first 4A State Championship by hitting .466 with 8 doubles and an impressive 47 RBI's. 

 

 

 


UTILITY PLAYERS

BRADY RENCK 2B / SS / LONGMONT, CO / 2019

Committed to Westmont College. Renck was one of the state's leading hitters in 2019. Renck led the Trojans in hitting with a .557 average while hitting 11 doubles, scored 39 runs while driving in 24, and also stole 26 bases. 


 

 

RYAN STOHR RHP / 3B / DAKOTA RIDGE, CO / 2019

Committed to Air Force, Stohr has a fastball that can get up into the low 90's and struck out 83 batters in 56 innings pitched. For the Eagles, Stohr was a force at the plate as well leading the team with .457 batting average, 8 homeruns, 11 doubles, and 32 RBIs. 

 

 

 



OUTFIELDERS


TAYLER AGUILAR OF / NORTHRIDGE, CO / 2019

Committed to Grand Canyon University. Another 5-tool player, Aguilar hit .548 at the plate and tied for the state lead with 10 homruns while also driving in 30. We have had Aguilar in past events run a 6.8 60, and throw over 90 mph from the outfield. 


 

 

 

COLBY SHADE OF / FORT COLLINS, CO / 2020

Committed to Virginia. Shade has his best year to date this spring by hitting .533 with 7 doubles, and 5 triples. We have had Shade run a 6.6 60 in the past, and that speed was evident with his 27 stolen bases this spring without getting caught. 


 

 

 

ETHAN O'DONNELL OF / OF / REGIS JESUIT, CO / 2020

Uncommitted. O'Donnell was part of what was believed the best OF in the state. Manning right field for the 5A state champions, O'donnell hit .388 while scoring 34 runs from the 2-hole. O'Donnell hit 6 doubles, 3 HR, and stole 11 bases. 


 

 

 

GENO MACIAS OF / 3B / REGIS JESUIT, CO / 2019

Committed to Air Force. Started in centerfield for the 5A state champions. Macias hit .389 with 28 RBIs for the Raiders from the 4-hole. Macias also showed advanced range in CF, and that's evident with a past 6.8 60 time in past events. Macias also throws in the upper 80's from the OF. 


 

 

 

AJ JERGENSEN OF / RALSTON VALLEY, CO / 2019

Committed to San Diego. Jergensen was probably the most pitched around player in our state this year. That still did not stop him from hitting .484 with 9 homeruns while scoring 35 times. 

 

 



RIGHT HANDED PITCHERS

SAM IRELAND RHP / 1B / MOUNTAIN VISTA , CO / 2019

Committed to Minnesota. Ireland is PBR Colorado's POY. One of the best two-way players our state has seen over the last few years, Ireland went 9-0 on the mound with a 0.91 ERA, and finished the last two years with a 20-1 record on the bump. At the plate Ireland hit .426 with 13 doubles, 5 HR, and 36 RBIs.  

 

 

 

 

 

NATHAN MITCHELL RHP / 1B / CHERRY CREEK, CO / 2019

Committed to Navy. Mitchell on the mound had a great year helping lead Cherry Creek back to the 5A state championship game by going 11-1 on the mound, and in 70 innings pitched carried a 2.78 ERA. Mitchell also hit .346 with 6 doubles for the Bruins.  

 

 

 

 

 

RILEY CORNELIO RHP / SS / PINE CREEK , CO / 2019

Committed to Texas Christian. Riley had a great year on the mound going 8-2 with a 2.14 ERA. In 55.2 innings pitched, Cornelio struck out an impressive 99 batters. At the plate, last game being a no-hitter for 6 and 2/3 innings in the District playoffs against Broomfield. Cornelio also hit .446 with 9 doubles and 3 homeruns. 


 

 

 


LEFT HANDED PITCHERS

RYAN URE LHP / 1B / EATON, CO / 2021

Uncommitted. The youngest player on this list, the 6-foot-5 left-hander has a fastball that can get up into the high 80's, and that was evident with his numbers on the mound going 4-0 with a 0-89 ERA. In 31 innings pitched Ure struck out 69 batters. At the plate Ure hit .518 and led the state with 50 RBI's while also hitting 5 homeruns. 

 

 

 

GRAHAM OSMAN LHP / OF / COLORADO ACADEMY, CO / 2019

Committed to Arizona State. One of the better stories in 2019, Osman when into his start against University in the 3A Final 8 with a 0.00 ERA. Osman would end up finishing the year with an 8-1 record, 0.37 ERA. In 55 Innings pitched Osman struck out 131 batters. Osman is PBR Colorado's Pitcher of the Year. 


 

 

 


CLOSER


CASE WILLIAMS RHP / 1B / DOUGLAS COUNTY, CO / 2020

Committed to Santa Clara. Williams was a force on the mound for the Huskies going 8-1 with a 1.81 ERA. With a fastball that lives in the low 90's, Williams struck out 79 batters in 50 innings pitched while only allowing 37 hits.
