2023 CHSAA Season Preview: Cheyenne Mountain HS

The Colorado high school season is nearing quickly, and we're here to cover it. Over the next several weeks, leading up to opening day, we'll publish our team previews ahead of the 2023 spring season, touching on programs spanning all state classifications, leading into a countdown through the official PBR Colorado Preseason Power 25 Rankings.

OUTLOOK:
This is a Cheyenne Mountain program that had an admirable season in 2022, and they are looking to get back to their winning ways this year. We did see the Hawks lose some pivotal pieces both offensively and on the mound after last spring, but we can tell you that this roster still has some talent. Ben Myers, Jace Eslinger, and Max O’Neil are all returning as seniors and could be pivotal to Cheyenne Mountain’s overall success. There is still opportunity for some younger players to step in this year, but if coach Swope can get production early we should see another strong year from Cheyenne Mountain.
