The Colorado high school season is nearing quickly, and we're here to cover it. Over the next several weeks, leading up to opening day, we'll publish our team previews ahead of the 2023 spring season, touching on programs spanning all state classifications, leading into a countdown through the official PBR Colorado Preseason Power 25 Rankings.

OUTLOOK:
The Pirates are looking to improve on their 2022 campaign since this season they bring back their top three pitchers along with a senior catcher. We have seen this team cause havoc on the basepaths as well since there are three players returning with 19 stolen bases or more from last year. Coach Ryan Christensen is excited to see how their senior leaders take control of this season and hopefully bring plenty of wins to the program in 2023.
