2023 CHSAA Season Preview: Dakota Ridge HS

The Colorado high school season is nearing quickly, and we're here to cover it. Over the next several weeks, leading up to opening day, we'll publish our team previews ahead of the 2023 spring season, touching on programs spanning all state classifications, leading into a countdown through the official PBR Colorado Preseason Power 25 Rankings.

Head Coach: Jeff Legault

OUTLOOK:
This is a Dakota Ridge team looking to thrive in 5A this season as they are bringing back 7 potential starters and 9 total seniors. The overall experience of this group should help them early on in the season and they have plenty of strong defenders as well as some pitchers with plenty of varsity innings. The offense might be led again by Cade Collins who hit .449 as a sophomore last year to go with his 1.370 OPS, 19 RBI, 4 homers, and 9 stolen bases. If veteran coach Jeff Legault can have these guys ready from the get-go, we could see a successful season out of the Eagles in 2023.
