The Colorado high school season is nearing quickly, and we're here to cover it. Over the next several weeks, leading up to opening day, we'll publish our team previews ahead of the 2023 spring season, touching on programs spanning all state classifications, leading into a countdown through the official PBR Colorado Preseason Power 25 Rankings.

OUTLOOK:
The Gators are looking to make the playoffs after a bit of a drought lately, but they do have some strong players coming into 2023. This team will be returning six starters from last year’s varsity squad, including senior Cannon Frost. Last year, we saw Frost belt 8 homers along with his .431 batting average, 1.436 OPS, and 58 Ks in 46.2 innings on the mound. Standley Lake will be looking to compete this year in 4A Colorado baseball, and they do have some sneaky good players to help them out in a potentially big way.
