John Cackowski
Director of Scouting

PBR Colorado strives to be the most comprehensive source of player information across the state. The Prep Baseball Report is the No. 1 resource for high school baseball in each state we cover through our variety of events, boots-on-the-ground scouting staff, daily coverage, and multimedia platforms. Our multimedia platforms and events work in tandem, ultimately creating the most powerful source of high school baseball promotion in each state. While other organizations take a national approach, our goal is to become the authoritative voice on the ground level of each state.

Scouting Report

2-25-18

5-foot-9, 165-pound right hand hitting 2B/RHP. At the plate he stands balanced with a wide stance.  Uses a lift and place stride and a slow load onto his back side.  Hands are quick through the zone with good whip.  Swing path is short and uphill.  Exit velocity was 88 mph.  In the field he shows good athletic actions.  Feet stay square and glove and hands are soft and quick.  Arm is high ¾ and played at 82 mph across the diamond. On the mound he uses a high leg kick and strong leg drive to the plate.  Arm speed stay consistent on all three pitches. He delivers from an over the top slot with good extension out front.  Fastball was 78-80 mph pretty straight through the zone.  Curve sat 63-65 with tight spin and late 12/6 break.  He finished with a 72-73 mph change with late sink.
