The Prep Baseball Report is the No. 1 resource for high school baseball in each state we cover through our variety of events, boots-on-the-ground scouting staff, daily coverage, and multimedia platforms. Our multimedia platforms and events work in tandem, ultimately creating the most powerful source of high school baseball promotion in each state.  While other organizations take a national approach, our goal is to become the authoritative voice on the ground level of each state.

Douglas County 6 ThunderRidge 1
Douglas County came out swinging Wednesday in this important league game for both teams.  The Huskies scored 2 in the first, and pitcher Murphy Gienger (2019) pitched a great game going 6 innings allowing just 3 hits to go along with 7 strike outs. 

Castle View 5 Heritage 2
Castle View had a huge win Wednesday against the number two-ranked team in the state Heritage. Castle View scored 2 in the 3rd, 1 in the 4th, and another 2 runs in the bottom of the 6thEric McKnight (2019) pitched for Heritage giving up 5 hits, 3 earned runs to go along with 9 K’s.  

Mountain Vista 11 Ponderosa 1
Mountain Vista keeps on rolling Wednesday beating up on the Mustangs at home.  John Zakhem (2019) hit a yard ball and had 4 RBI’s, Drew Stahl (2019) went 2 for 3 with 3 RBI’s and Sam Ireland (2019) continued to dominate on the mound giving up only 3 hits and striking out 10. 

Boulder 7 Legacy 3
Boulder had a huge win on Wednesday defeating league foe Legacy.  With the game tied at 2 going into the bottom of the 4th inning, Boulder went on a run and scored 5 runs, and never looked back.  Teddy Schoenfeld who hit a long ball and drove in 3 runs led Boulder, and Liam Yuill who went yard as well was 2 for 4 with 3 RBI’s for Boulder.  

Wheat Ridge 6 Golden 5
Wheat Ridge pitcher Aaron Arcilise (2019) did enough for the win on Wednesday, going 6 2/3 innings, and allowing 5 earned run.  For Golden, hitter Noah Mitchell (2018) had a huge day at the plate going 3 for 4 with 3 RBI’s.  

Chaparral 10 Highlands Ranch 9
After 3 innings Chaparral had taken a 6 to 2 lead in the game, but Highlands Ranch battled back scoring 2 in the 4th, and 2 in the 5th. So after 5 innings Chaparral still had the lead 9 to 6, but Highlands Ranch kept battling scoring 1 in the 6th and with a chance to tie the game in the top of the 7th inning they came up short only scoring 2 runs. Luke Bailey (2018)  for Chaparral had a good game at the plate going 2 for 4 with 2 RBI’s.

Fossil Ridge 6 Fairview 4
Fossil Ridge won this important league game on Wednesday.  J. Jones (2021) had a good day at the plate for Fairview going 2 for 4.

Regis 3 Rock Canyon 1
Regis got a huge league win on Wednesday beating Rock Canyon behind the pitching of Matthew Boyd (2018) who threw a complete game, giving up just 3 hits to go along with 11 K’s.

Green Mountain 5 Littleton 1
Green Mountain was trailing in the game 1 to 0 going into the bottom of the 4th, and then scored all their 5 runs in the bottom of the inning to win 5 to 1.  Green Mountain held Littleton to just 3 hits.

Valor 8 D’Evelyn 1
Valor was trailing early in the game 1 to 0, but then turned on the bats to score 2 runs in the 3rd, another 2 in the 5th, and then topped it off with 4 in the bottom of the 6th.  Valor’s C. Schonebaum (2018) had a huge day at the plate going 3 for 4, scoring 3 times, and knocking in 2 runs.  Pitching for Valor was Josh Danyliw (2018) who went 5 innings allowing just 5 hits and 1 earned run.
