Colorado Fall ID: Quick Hits

On Sunday, November 13th, PBR Colorado hosted the Colorado Fall ID at The Farm Sports in Colorado Springs. The event featured 80+ players from the 2023-2026 grad classes. Below we will look at some of the players and highlight some top performers.

Matt Hansen SS / OF / Air Academy, CO / 2024

It was nice to get an up-close look at the BYU commit, and he did not disappoint. The 6-foot, 185-pound athlete ran a 6.88, showed advanced actions defensively, and finished the day off with multiple exit velocities of 100+ (max 104.6).

 

 

Cameron Larson RHP / OF / Cherry Creek, CO / 2024

The 5-foot-11, 155-pound pitcher has an athletic delivery with a fast arm. He was 85-87 with the fastball, change-up at 73-75, and slider at 73-75. He has an advanced feel and will be a pitcher to follow this spring.

 

 

Sean Goldy SS / OF / Cherry Creek, CO / 2025

The 5-foot-8, 145-pound infielder ran a 6.91 sixty, with an easy compact swing producing an exit velocity of 90.4. He also had the top position velocity at 87 mph. He is a young, twitchy athlete with an advanced skill set. 

 

 

Trevor Gottsegen OF / RHP / Highlands Ranch, CO / 2025

He ran an event-best 6.68 sixty and threw 85 from the outfield, with a 92.1 max exit velocity. A 6-foot frame with room to fill out, plus continued development, make him an exciting player to follow moving forward. 

 

 

Cory Dean Carver SS / OF / Montezuma Cortez , CO / 2026

He is a young player who showed an advanced skill set for his age. A 5-foot-7, 140-pound athlete, he ran a 7.11 sixty and had a compact, short swing with some aggression. His max EV was 88.6.

 

 

Aidan Tocchini OF / 1B / Valor Christian, CO / 2025

The 6-foot-1, 195-pound left-handed hitter has a strong, compact swing that produced multiple exit velocities above 90, with a 92.4 max.

 

 

William Applegate 1B / C / Grand Junction, CO / 2025

He is a physical hitter who moves well for his 6-foot-3, 220-pound frame. He ran a 7.42 sixty and showed good feet around the bag at first base. The swing is simple and quiet and then explodes through contact with multiple 90+ EV (93.7 max).

 

 

Jason Berglund LHP / OF / Chaparral, CO / 2024

6-foot-1, 150-pound pitcher sat 80-82 with the fastball, change-up at 75-76, and slider at 66-73. He has long levers, athleticism, and his arm works. He threw 86 MPH from the outfield.

 

 

Cole Honick OF / RHP / Rocky Mountain, CO / 2024

5-foot-11, 150-pound pitcher/outfielder, was 80-83 with the fastball. His change-up was 76-77, and a curveball at 69-70. His 2700-2900+ spin rate on his curveball was tops at the event.

 

 

Connor Lopez OF / RHP / Silver Creek , CO / 2025

The 5-foot-11, 165-pound pitcher, filled up the zone with three pitches. His fastball was 79-81. Change-up at 74 with arm side fade and a curveball at 70-72. He also ran a 6.91 sixty.

 

 

Cael Clancy RHP / Cherry Creek, CO / 2024

6-foot-2, 180-pound pitcher was 81-4 with his fastball. Change-up at 72-3 and a curveball at 65-67. He has a solid frame, broad shoulders, and a clean delivery.

 

 

Reed McConnell OF / RHP / Douglas County , CO / 2024

6-foot-1, 190-pound pitcher throws from a high-3/4 slot with some aggression. He was 85-86 with his fastball, Change-up at 72-5, and curveball at 66 MPH.

 

 

Logan Manuello 3B / RHP / Chaparral , CO / 2025

6-foot-1, 175-pound pitcher, was 81-83 with his fastball. Splitter at 75-77 and a 2300-2500 RPM curveball at 72-73. He throws from a high slot with an athletic delivery.

 

 

Asher Eliason RHP / 1B / Regis Jesuit, CO / 2025

6-foot-2, 200-pound pitcher was 83-84 with his fastball. He also mixed in a 70-72 CB and change-up at 74-77. He is young and still developing, but his arm works, and has a durable frame.

 

 

Darren Daves C / OF / Montezuma-Cortez , CO / 2026

The left-handed hitting catcher ran a 7.12 sixty and showed advanced skills for his age. His pop times were 1.98-2.07, with a compact and simple swing (87.9 Max EV).  

 

 

Alexander Denny 1B / LHP / Regis Jesuit , CO / 2026

A 6-foot, 170-pound pitcher creates some deception in his delivery, working from a low 3/4 slot. His fastball was 79-81, change-up at 71-2, and a developing breaking ball at 64.
