PBR COLORADO SUMMER SCOUT LEAGUE

PBR Colorado finished it's inaugural season of the Summer Scout League. The PBR Colorado Summer Scout League is designed to give players an all-inclusive package that will meet participants’ recruiting, game-development, skill-development, and exposure needs. The package included 9 inning games played at local Colorado college fields which includes Metropolitan State, Regis, Colorado School of Mines, and Univeristy of Colorado, Colorado Springs. All games were scouted by the PBR Colorado Staff, and players had multiple times to get their profiles updated on the PBR Colorado website which is subscribed to over 850 colleges. This was a great opportunity to be seen in front of state colleges in the area.

Over 160 players participated with several players showing off next-level talent on the field. Over the course of the next few months we will be highlighting "Top Performer Spotlights" on players who really stood-out this summer.

Scouting Report

6-12-18

Uncommitted, 5-foot-8, 135-pound MIF/RHP who started the game for Rocky Mountain on the mound.  He worked two quick innings for the Lobos with a simple motion, good balance and a high ¾ arm slot.  Fastball was 76-78 mph and he worked in on hitters well.  He flashed a 67-68 mph curve with tight spin and 11/5 break.  In the field he made two great plays at shortstop.  He has excellent range up the middle and a quick glove to hand transfer.  At the plate he hit lead off for Rocky and gave the lobos the lead with a 2 RBI double down the left field line in the 7th inning.  Patient at the plate, works the count and shows the ability to hit to all fields.  Player to watch the next two years.
