In the winter of 2016 PBR Colorado released our first ever 2020 rankings which consisted of 40 players. In the past two years Prep Baseball Report Colorado has had the opportunity to cover amateur baseball like no other organization has ever been able to do before in the state of Colorado. Between scouting numerous games last spring and summer, and having a great opportunity to see more 2020 grads at the Underclass Invitational in January, and the Top Prospect Games last summer. We were able to move our 2020 ranking list to 125 players. Our next big 2020 rankings update will be posted after the spring season.

Jack Moss 3B / RHP / Cherry creek, CO / 2020

Committed to Virginia. 6-foot-4, 185-pound left hand hitting 1B/3B. Balanced setup, smooth load, short stride and maintains balance through contact. Compact, fluid, repeatable swing, creates bat speed, consistent hard contact; 90 mph exit velocity from a tee. Defensively, moves well left and right.  Shows quick athletic actions and funnels into exchange, ¾ arm slot, throws topped at 79 mph. Great presence and footwork in the field and around the bag.

Colby Shade OF / OF / Fort Collins, CO / 2020

Committed to Virginia. 6-foot-1, 165-pound right hand hitting OF. Fast-twitched player. High hips stood out, looks like there is a lot more room to grow. Probably will end up 6-foot-4, 190 pounds.  Very athletic. Lower half is solid through the zone. Pull-side power right now. Gets good extension through the ball and after. Exit velocity was 85 mph. In the field he glides to the ball, he is aggressive fielding through the ball and delivers an on target throw. Very athletic and uses his speed to close the gap on balls. Arm is accurate to the bag.  Arm velocity was 85 MPH.

Declan Wiesner C / OF / Valor Christian High School, CO / 2020

Uncommitted. 5-foot-11, 190-pound right hand hitting C/1B. He is a strong athletic catcher who had pop-times of 1.90-1.95.  He sets up well behind the plate and has smooth athletic actions on balls in the dirt.  He throws from an over the top arm slot with accuracy to the bag.  Arm velocity was 76 MPH.  At the plate hits with an uphill swing path and power to the left center gap. Starting right now behind plate for Valor Christian.

Lucas Quezada RHP / 1B / Heritage High School, CO / 2020

Uncommitted. 6-foot, 180 pounds. Bats left, throws right. Closer to 5-foot-10, but everything is super effortless, and he repeats it in an advanced manner given his age. Arm is quick, and he painted his fastball from side to side down in the zone. Fastball is 85-87. Stays linear. Throws a straight changeup with fastball arm speed for strikes and a slurve that has 11/5 shape at 72-73 mph, but is still developing. Change is 74-75 mph.

Jenner Kehe RHP / OF / Lakewood, CO / 2020

Uncommitted. 5-10, 145 pounds. Comes from 3/4 with quick, lively arm, and athletic frame and finish. Land's slightly to 1B with fall off. In poor, windy conditions, fastball lived 84-85 touching 87 twice with arm side run. Curveball was 62-63 with gradual 10-5 shape. Threw 4 innings giving up 4 unearned runs with 5 K's. Currently 3-1 on season with a 1.37 ERA. In 27 innings has 31 strikeouts with only 9 walks, and 16 hits given up.
