FL Preseason All-State Spotlight: Jack Hodges

The Florida Preseason All-State has quickly become the premier Preseason event in the state of Florida. Over the first two years there have been over 100 committed players in attendance and counting. This event is held for the top 2019s-2022s throughout the state to kick off the Prep Baseball Report's spring high school baseball coverage. 

We will begin to spotlight each and every player in attendance. Today, we look at SS Jack Hodges (St. John's Country Day, 2020). The Flagler College commit is ranked No. 176 in Florida's Class of 2020.

Scouting Report

06/23/18- Flagler recruit. Currently stands at 5-foot-11, 155 pound with a lean frame and room to fill out. Offensively, stands tall, starting slightly open. Has rhythm and works closed. Trusts his hands and works out in front. Defensively, Defensively, works under control, could benefit from some added rhythm, tempo. The actions are sound and hands work well.
