Florida 2025 Rankings: Post-Summer Update

Rocco Iervasi
PBR Florida Managing Director

The second week of post-summer player rankings is here as we update the Class of 2025 this week. New recruiting rules changed things drastically for this class as the remaining uncommitted players were unable to talk to schools or commit until August 1st. Despite the adversity, many players both committed and uncommitted took advantage and have started to separate themselves amongst this class. Check out our new Florida Class of 2025 Rankings Update.

Taking over the number one spot in the state is OF Dean Moss. Moss, a Vandy recruit has been one of the top hitters in this class since he stepped foot at IMG. 6-foot, 180 pounds with physicality, Moss impacts the baseball at a high level and is a run-producer. There is a lot of power potential in his bat, but the approach and plate discipline really stand out.

Number two in the Florida 2025 class is another left-handed hitting outfielder in Jacob Kendall. Since the first time we saw Kendall at age 13, his hit-ability has always been advanced. Very lean and projectable at 6-foot-3, 175 pounds. Effortless bat speed with juice to all fields. The Gators recruit has a big ceiling that will continue to rise as he fills out his frame.

The number three spot is held by uncommitted SS Sean Gamble. Gamble is one of the top uncommitted players in the country and will be a strong follow for colleges this fall. Gamble is one of the best pure hitters in this class with a lot of power potential in his 6-foot-1, 185 pound frame. He will be an impact hitter in the middle of IMG’s lineup this spring.

Number four in the Florida 2025 class is a newcomer to the Sunshine State in SS Jayden Stroman. Stroman heads to IMG this fall following his move from New York. Stroman is a switch-hitting middle infielder committed to Duke. A toolsy hitter with raw ability from both sides. Stroman should fit nicely into a deep and talented lineup at IMG Academy.

Rounding out the top five is 3B Nic Partridge. Partridge is a long, projectable left-handed hitter at 6-foot, 170 pounds. Florida recruit has quick and loose hands in the box with ability to drive to all fields. Power potential continues to develop as he adds strength. Athletic defender at third base but the bat has a ton of projectability.
