The PBR ProCase has been a staple of the Prep Baseball Report's pro coverage over the last 17 years. The event has become one of the more high-powered pro showcases in the state and has seen multiple high draft picks in year’s past. There have been four players drafted in the top five rounds of the MLB Draft to have attended the Florida ProCase in previous years. The biggest of them all was Mason Denaburg, who was taken in the 1st round of the 2018 draft by the Washington Nationals. Another ProCase alum was Freddy Tarnok. He was selected by the Atlanta Braves in the 3rd round of the 2017 draft. Sam McMillan attended the first Florida ProCase in 2016. He was selected in the 5th round of the 2017 draft by the Detroit Tigers. And just last year, Tyler Callihan was selected in the 3rd round of the 2019 draft by the Cincinnati Reds.

The 2020 Florida ProCase will take place Friday, May 29th at Jackie Robinson Ballpark in Daytona, Florida. The event will feature a pro-style workout followed by simulated gameplay that we will be broadcasting live on Twitter. Continuing today, we will be spotlighting some of the players that will be in attendance at the 2020 Florida ProCase.

If you still wish to attend the 2020 Florida ProCase you can request your invite and register HERE.

Scouting Report

2/8/19 - Florida State recruit. Standing at a physical 6-foot-2, 200 pounds. Strength-based player with a large frame. Offensively, he shows power over hit future offensive profile. Really advanced physically for 2021 class. Stands upright and slightly open, he uses his strength efficiently especially to the pull side. Expect to see the bat get very loud as he gets older and grows into his athleticism. Defensively, he works well around the bag and profiles as your tradtional big right handed power first baseman.

10/17/18 - Florida State recruit. Currently stands at 6-foot-2, 200 pounds on a big, strong frame. Bush was a standout from the 2018 Joe Skinner Fall Championship and continued to show his big power potential over the weekend. Strong hands through the zone with above average bat speed and natural loft, utilizing his lower half and driving the ball deep into the gaps. During the game, Bush connected on a fastball and drove it deep over the center fielder’s head for an easy standup double. Bush will continue to be a middle of the order bat and shows some present power, especially to the pull side.

09/15/18- Listed at 6’2 and 195 pounds, Bush displays a big, strong frame. In game, Bush shows a compact swing with slight loft that will be conducive to power. Bush impressed in batting practice in the morning combine, showing big time pull side pop.
