Day 1 Day 2 Day 3/4

Yohan Dessureault 3B / RHP / Academie Baseball Canada, QC / 2020

Academy Baseball Canada; A big, athletic body that stands out at 6-foot-2 185 pounds, Dessureault put on a show at the plate last weekend. Wide stance and simple load keep him quiet and compact. Plays with rhythm at short with soft hands that complement a solid first step that plays at second as well. Strong athletic build. Smooth, compact swing from the left side with gap to gap power. Quick hands with a fast bat, also showed some quickness on the base paths. Throws 85 with some sink on the mound as well.

Nicolas Deschamps C / 3B / Edouard-Montpetit, QC / 2020

Academy Baseball Canada; With a springy, athletic 6-foot 175 pounds. frame Deschamps is a pure catcher with instincts and receiving ability, he has great feel for the position. Moves free and easy with quick feet and soft hands that allow for a seamless transfer on throws to bases. He has an adequate arm with accuracy with recorded pop times in the 2.0-2.2 range. A smooth lefty swing with advanced pitch recognition only adds to his stock.

Jake Mummau SS / 3B / Palm Harbor University, FL / 2021

Florida Burn 2021 Platinum; Uncommitted 2021, slender athletic build at 5-foot-11 165 pounds with plenty of room to grow. Was able to showcase smooth range at shortstop with a strong arm across the infield. At the plate Jake showed gap-to gap power with an advanced feel for the barrel.

Aidan Corn 3B / Venice, FL / 2021

Florida Burn 2021 Platinum; A stocky frame at 6-foot 180 pounds, Corn showed gap-to-gap power with multiple extra base hits for the weekend. A smooth swing from the right side allows him to make plenty of hard contact and drive the ball.

Tiburones Baseball Club; Standing 5-foot-11 and 150, he as an uber athletic build that he will continue to grow with. With a slightly open stance from the right side he has a slight leg kick and natural timing that allows for a consistent bat path conducive to line drive contact. Looks every bit of a short stop with footwork to go along with an arm that plays.

Tiburones Baseball Club, 5-foot-10 160 lbs, shows range in center field taking good routes to cut off the ball and displays a strong arm. At the plate Farraro lets the ball get deep and has a quick bat and a strong lower half displaying gap-to gap power.

Will Parkinson LHP / 1B / Berkely Prep, FL / 2021

Top Tier Roos American; Parkinson’s 6-foot-2 175 pound frame is very projectable as he isn’t close to being done growing. He’s big bodied and uses his weight well through the wind up and delivery that is smooth and low effort. Fastball had some arm side run at 82-84 and broke off an above average 72-73 mph curveball with late break that produced swings and misses.

Wyatt Strickland C / 3B / Bloomingdale, FL / 2021

Ostingers 2021 Reed; Strickland is 6-foot-1 195 pounds and has gap to gap pop that he put on display at the plate. With thick hips and quads he projects well at the catcher position in the future. He surprisingly has quick twitch with the feet and hands which keep him balanced and on time in the batters box. He has a confident approach that leads to full swings that rarely get cheated.

Colby Fanning RHP / OF / Strawberry Crest, FL / 2021

Ostingers 2021 Reed; Fanning is a 5-foot-11 150 pound outfielder that is long and rangy with ball skills of a center fielder. Stays tall on the backside and gets behind the ball well. Quiet in the load and the front foot landing, Fanning's hands are just about the only parts of his body that move during his swing. He is one to watch in the future. On the mound, his fastball sat 79-81 and his change up registered at 71-72. He is a low effort guy on the mound with a very relaxed delivery.

Kris Sosnowski RHP / Jesuit, FL / 2021

Ostingers 2021 Reed; At 5-foot-10 175 pounds, Sosnowski looks bigger than he’s listed. With wide shoulders and a broad chest there is plenty more room for growth and added strength to his already stocky frame. He was effective on the mound with tice tempo and an easy wind up. Normal effort with clean arm action, his fastball sits between 82-85 and counters it with a sweeping breaking ball at 70-72 that comes from a similar slot with the same arm speed making it hard to pick up out of the hand.

Johnathan Bruno SS / C / Berkeley, FL / 2021

Top Tier Roos American; Uncommitted 2021 third baseman showed off above average defense at the hot corner. Saved a run by making a backhand play at the bag and fired across the diamond with accuracy for the out. He also made an off-balance throw to first to beat a quick runner. Multiple extra base hits on the weekend to help his team.

Yoskar Lopez 2B / Nature Coast, FL / 2021

Austin Frawley SS / 3B / Park Vista, FL / 2021

FTB Rockets 16U; The uncommitted, 6-foot-1 180 pound catcher for FTB Rockets 16u is a player to watch. Behind the plate he possesses a strong arm. His footwork and hands are phenomenal for a player his age. He is a game changer on defense. Against Florida Burn he threw out three runners, two at second and one at first. He popped a 1.9 twice to nab the runners at second base. At the plate, he has a very simple and compact swing.

Fisher Jameson RHP / 1B / Park Vista, FL / 2021

FTB Rockets 16U; Jameson used his large, 6-foot-3 180 pound frame to overpower hitters. His fastball has a steep downward plane, allowing him to avoid solid contact. He sat 85-87 with his fastball and showcased a changeup with good fade at 79-82. As he matures even more, he will be able to further utilize his large frame.

Willie Jackson 3B / Gaither, FL / 2021

Empire Baseball 16U; Uncommitted Jackson 5-foot-9 195 pounds; showed power at the plate with a strong lower half and quick hands to the ball. Shows some speed on the bases. He launched a two-run ground-rule double and showed patience walking twice against Ostingers Mondoux. Has a level swing with some pop. He does not chase pitches outside of the zone. Jackson is also quicker than his 5-9, 195 pound frame leads you to believe.

Diego Caicedo SS / 3B / Westminster Academy, FL / 2021

Cannons 2021 American; The uncommitted 5-foot-9, 170 pound switch hitter has an athletic frame. He consistently barreled balls up. He has an above average arm at both second base and left field. He is an advanced defender at both positions, making a diving play at second base to end the game.

Trey Santana INF / Sunlake, FL / 2022

Empire Baseball Reid; At 6-foot-2 185 pounds Santana has a matured, lean body with muscular legs and long arms. His athleticism is without question which shows in his smooth footwork in the middle infield. At the plate, he consistently lands balanced with a still head. Strides towards third but keeps the hands back to drive the ball to the right side of the field.

Trevor Scott 3B / 1B / Jupiter High School, FL / 2021

FTB Rockets 16U; Showed off gap-to-gap power and exceptional bat speed. He uses a strong lower half to drive balls to all fields. He sat back on a curveball, driving it the other way for a triple. Later in the game, he used his quick hands to hit an inside fastball to the left field wall. His barrel consistently stays through the zone, allowing him to produce a lot of backspin on the ball.
