By Mike Maerz

The fall baseball season in Florida gives the opportunity for players to not only continue their success after a long summer season, but a chance to improve their game with the high school season just around the corner. Below are some standouts from the 2018 class that have continued to show well into the fall months.

Xavier Edwards, SS, Trinity Christian Academy, FL
5-foot-8, 140-pound Vanderbilt recruit. Scrappy athlete. At the plate works the counts and displayed above-average bat speed. Drives it to all parts of the field. Runs the bases well and gets a good jump off the bag. In the field, displayed range and makes the plays. Game will improve with added strength and maturity.
