PBR Florida Staff

After a long hot summer down in the sunshine state, we want to look back at the many players who stood out at showcases this year. Plenty of committed and uncommitted talent from each high school class made a name for themselves this summer and really stood out to our scouting staff.

Last Monday, we introduced our 2021 Summer Standout series. This series will highlight players from each class that really stood out at our events this summer. Throughout this Summer Standout Series, we will get ready for our State Games this Fall with the theme of #RepYourRegion. Today, we will continue with the 2025-2026 Standouts.

2025-2026 Standouts

Wilson Andersen SS / RHP / Jesuit, FL / 2026

Anderson is a toolsy 2026 with an extremely high ceiling going forward. Showed an advanced glove at short with an above average arm. Offensively, drove the ball into the gaps consistently with loud contact. Up to 82 mph on the mound with swing and miss stuff.

Ethan Barclay OF / 3B / Calvary Christian, FL / 2026

Barclay swung the bat well at the Junior Future Games. Stayed on the barrel with a gap to gap line drive approach. Above average arm in the outfield while showing range to the gaps.

Found some barrels with some loud contact. Line drive approach. Solid from the outfield, he displayed a position velocity of 71 mph; has rhythmic fluid feet, consistent hands, and a clean natural exchange. Fielded the ball out front with quick movement laterally. Decent accuracy to the bag, used a ¾ slot and a longer loose arm action.
