PBR: What schools have expressed interest in you?
WAUTERS: Upper Iowa, Ellsworth, Iowa Wesleyan, and a variety of D3 schools.
PBR: Have you taken any visits, or have any visits scheduled in the near future?
WAUTERS: I have visited Upper Iowa and Iowa Wesleyan, and have a visit to Ellsoworth lined up this fall.
PBR: Are you looking for anything in particular in a school? (Example: high academics, certain academic program, local, etc.)
WAUTERS: My major is undecided so I'm looking for a school where I can start working on general education and explore more from there. I want to play baseball at the highest level possible, so I'm open to JUCO and 4-year.
PBR: What were some of your highlights during your junior year?
WAUTERS: I loved the group of guys around me on my high school team and enjoyed being with them every day. The biggest highlight was reaching the state tournament for the first time in school history, and being named to an all-state team. I also played fall ball with the Hitters out of Wisconsin, which helped me grow a lot as a player.
PBR: What are your goals for this year?
WAUTERS: My goals for this year are to put on some weight by working hard in the weight room, and help DIke-New Hartford compete for another state tournament run. Following high school I want to play baseball at the highest level possible, and contribute to a college team anyway possible.
PBR: Do you play any other sports?
WAUTERS: Yes, I play basketball.
PBR: What is your ACT and GPA?
WAUTERS: My GPA is currently a 3.78 and I got a 25 on the ACT.

Defense: RH C - 79 mph. 2.01-2.07 pop times. Quick feet with solid accuracy to bag. Above avg. receiver, directs traffic well, shows ability to block. One of better uncommitted catchers in class.
Hit: RHH. Open stance, slight bar in load, tends to push barrel through zone, solid consistent line drive contact with flat plane through zone.
Power: 84 mph exit velocity from the tee.
Run: 7.22 runner in the 60.

Body: 6-0, 160-pounds.
Hit: RHH. Open stance, leg kick trigger, some stiffness through zone, pull approach, line drive contact with occasional pop in bat.
Power: 87 mph exit velocity from the tee.
Arm: RH. C - 75 mph. 2.06-2.09 pop times. Short release, avg./solid accuracy, rushed footwork.
Defense: Square setup, well above avg. receiver, quiet pre-pitch with athleticism, strong hands to hold pitches in zone.
