Large framed athlete at 6-foot-5, 220 pounds. Up to 94 with his fastball before settling in at 89-92. Showed feel for his 11/5 breaking ball at 77-79. Intriguing 2020 draft prospect.

Hit: LHH. Tall setup, slightly open, leg lift stride. Intentful swing, pull side lift approach for power, advanced bat strength.
Power: 92 mph exit velocity from the tee. Advanced power from the left side.
Run:  runner in the 60. 

Delivery: Side rocker into tall and fall delivery with little effort, upright and works downhill.
Arm Action: RH. Clean full circle arm action, high 3/4 slot.
FB: T88, 85-87 mph. Straight, four seam type.
CB: 70-73 mph. 11/5 shape, showed feel.
CH: 79-81 mph. Straight, slight sink action.

 

 

Costa Sirounis, RHP/1B, Munster HS, 2020, 6 foot 5, 210 pounds, is a physical presence in the box and on the mound. His arm action has shortened up a bit and is clean medium action from a high ¾ slot. Fastball sat 85-86 with little effort and good down angle. Future is very bright on the mound. At the plate, his exit velo was 89 mph from a balanced set up and swing. Barrel works flat at launch, consistency of barrel is the only issue. Has present easy power if the bat path cleans up.

 

 

Big strong framed 1B/RHP out of Crown Point. Hits from the left side and put on a show during his round of BP driving multiple balls out of the park. Showed major juice in bat and ability to use the whole field. Short leg lift trigger, uses whole body in swing and creates above average bat speed. Big potential with bat.

 

 

Big, athletic 6-foot-4, 200 pound right-handed pitcher.  Works with smooth rhythm, repeatable delivery.  Clean, loose arm swing.  High 3/4 slot.  Fastball sat 81-83, touching 84 with some command in the zone.  Breaking ball has some late depth at 67-72.  Shape lacked consistency. Plenty of potential on the mound.  Left-handed hitter has bat speed with raw actions.  High exit velocity of 89 from a long, uphill swing.  Will need some refinement in the box.  

 

 

6-foot-3, 180 pound strong bodied righty throws from a high 3/4 slot with loose, quick arm and good balance. Regular effort and some rhythm produces good velocity and a repeatable delivery on the mound. Fastball was straight, thrown at 78-80. Curveball flashed some sharp action at near fastball arm speed. Good athleticism and good size should produce projectable velocity. At the plate uses a balanced setup with a short, smooth load and a short stride. Good balance and fast bat speed speed. Gets to extension and strong lower half will drive balls deep into the gaps. Showed good pitch recognition. Home to first in 4.95 seconds.
