Today's Player Spotlight is an unsigned senior, Brad Hartman.  Hartman is an athletic MIF out of St. Joesph's HS in northern Indiana.  Hartman is also a member of the Indiana Chargers baseball organization, for whom he plays for in the summer.

The 6-foot, 155 pound Hartman is one of the top middle infield gloves in the state of Indiana. He possesses quick feet, and displays advanced defensive actions.  He has the ability to get rid of the ball quickly and shows good arm action with carry.

At the plate he has an open stance and shows good bat speed. Hartman gets the barrel through the zone quickly producing gap to gap power with some pop.

At the 2011 Under Armour Midwest Futures Games he showed good base running skills to go along with his speed, running a 6.79 sixty.
