The Outlook: Uncommitted 2017 RHP from Columbus North pitches from a quick, high 3/4 arm action with a smooth, repeatable delivery and easy to regular effort. VanDeventer showed improved fastball command and velocity last spring sitting 84-86, touching 87 with some sink. The breaking ball has slider sharpness when thrown with greater velocity, but is more gradual later in the game.
