Prep Baseball Report Kansas

In addition to our Preseason Top 25 team rankings Prep Baseball Report Kansas has selected three Preseason All-State teams.  Much like the Top 25 we used a combined classes approach when selecting the players for the All-State teams.

Unlike our player rankings that emphasize player's tools and projection while also taking into consideration results on the field the All-State teams are based almost solely on past performance with a heavy dose of All-State, League Players of the Year and 1st Team All-League players from last season represented.  When similar credentials presented themselves, competition level was factored in.

A handful of players were bumped from Honorable Mention All-League to one of the All-State teams by taking into account both a solid campaign in 2013 plus elite talent level.

We had to tweak some player's positions to fit them on the team we felt they belonged and also assigned only one position to two-way players outside of the three utility players selected.

The groups of infielders, outfielders and pitchers are listed alphabetically by last name on each team.
