KEY NEWS/STAT:

  • Washburn Rural will play Seaman HS at Kauffman Stadium on Saturday, April 12th

OUTLOOK:  

The Junior Blue look to build on their fifth place finish in the Centennial League standings in 2013 with the return of four All-League performers including 2nd Team All-State outfielder Connor Swope.  In addition, Trent McMaster, coming off a 2nd Team All-Centennial League season, provides a physical left-handed bat in the middle of their line-up.  In all, Rural returns seven players from their everyday line-up and four pitchers with significant mound time.
