As  we  prepare  for  the  upcoming  2016  high  school  season,  we  will  be  taking  a
preseason glimpse at programs from around the state.

Season Outlook
The Concordia Panthers will return five players and three pitchers that finished second in the state in 2015.  First Team All-Stater Cole Larsen will be leading the charge in 2016.  Larsen is a 5-foot-11 160-pound RHP and SS, showing an 84 mph fastball and an 80 mph positional velo.  Sophomore Billy Bechard was an Honorable Mention All-NCKL player a ago and along with Larsen will give the Panthers a pair of underclassmen with experience.  A trio of seniors will be back in 2016 to lead Concordia back to the state championship.  RHP Ethan Bechard, 2B Colby Trost, and OF Trevor Tholstrup.  The Panthers had a .929 field percentage ago, and feel it will be an instrumental part of their success this season as well.  They have a group committed on looking ahead to the spring of 2016 instead of the accomplishments of the past.  They will be a team to contend with this year for the Class 4A-DII state championship.
