Season Outlook
The Warriors are returning an experienced group this year despite losing four senior starters to graduation. Eight players on this years roster played in the state tournament last year with seven of those starting at least one game in addition to multiple appearances during the regular season. Developing depth on the mound and replacing 1st Team All-State third baseman Peyton Heidebrecht will be keys to our success this seasonMarion return junior Blane Mermis and Corbin Wheeler in the mound.  Mermis earned All-State honors last season, while Wheeler was named All-HOA.  Senior Cole Srajer is a versatile utility player that was named All-State as a junior and senior Jacob Vondenkamp will return in the outfield after earning Honorable Mention All-HOA awards in 2017.  Watch for junior Evann Heidebrecht to build on last season when he was named 2nd Team All-HOA.  This spring, the Warriors look to get back to the Kansas Class 3 state championship game.
