JUCO Player Spotlight - KCK: Caleb Adams

The currently uncommitted Covid-Freshman has been turning his raw tools into in-game production this year for the Blue Devils.  He's currently hitting .313 with 8 extra base hits and 31 RBI.  He's been able to translate his 6.6 60 speed for 22 stolen bases in 24 attempts.  At the plate he works from an upright stance with limited movement and a controlled barrel.  He has shown some strength in the barrel with exit speeds reaching up to 97 mph in a BP session off of the Trackman.  Defensively he covers a ton of ground and compliments the range with a strong arm with velocities up to 92 mph.  With the speed and arm strength Adams can play all three spots in the outfield at the next level and be a guy that puts pressure on the defense with his ability to run the bases at a high level.
