Kaiser Commits to Vanderbilt

Prep Baseball Report - Kansas

Class of 2015 prospect Connor Kaiser, starting shortstop for 6A State Champion Blue Valley West HS,  informed Prep Baseball Report earlier tonight of his verbal commitment to Vanderbilt University.  The 6-foot-3, 180-pound Kaiser is one of the top prospects in the Midwest in the 2015 class.

The talented shortstop was one of only three infielders in the country to be named to the 2013 Rawlings High School Gold Glove Team.  Kaiser also earned a spot on the Royals Elite Scout Team this fall where he played shortstop and also pitched.  In the summer he played with the Mac N Seitz organization based out of Kansas City, MO.  Kaiser also stars for the Blue Valley West basketball team.

In an interview with Prep Baseball Report earlier this fall, Kaiser indicated that he had visited (and had visits scheduled to) a number of major college baseball programs including Arkansas, Kansas, Kansas State, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma State, Vanderbilt and Wichita State.

We had multiple chances to see Kaiser play for the Royals Elite Scout Team this fall - to watch the video footage click here.
