TOP PLAYERS

Landon Reeves 1B / OF / Blue Valley North, KS / 2021

The Davidson commit will be a middle of the order bat for the Mustangs this season and has a chance to be one of the better hitters in the state.  Will also log a good amount of innings on the mound this season.

Noah Young RHP / 3B / Blue Valley North, KS / 2021

The Saint Louis University commit will get the ball on opening day for the Mustangs flashing good stuff on the mound and he keeps improving as he grows into his body.  If he pitches to his ceiling he has a chance to be one of the top pitchers in the state.

Jaxon Goldberg SS / OF / Blue Valley North, KS / 2023

The switch hitting shortstop and former Future Games Participant will be counted on to provide solid defense up the middle and get the offense started at the top of the order.  Jaxon is described by his coach as being very focused on his skill development and being a hard worker.

Justin Talcott OF / Blue Valley North, KS / 2021

The left handed hitting outfielder provides some athleticism to the Mustang lineup and good outfield defensive skills.  Justin has a smooth and rhythmic swing and takes a line drive approach to the plate.

Evan Johnson SS / 2B / Blue Valley North, KS / 2021

The uncommitted right handed hitter will provide a lot of options for Coach Dudley and the Mustangs this season as he can be used almost anywhere on the field.  At the plate Evan gets the most out of his frame with a hard swinging mentality.

LUKE HENDRICKSON

RHP / OF / BLUE VALLEY NORTH, KS / 2021

The athletic Senior will be counted on to bring his athleticism and good defensive play in the outfield to the park every game this season.  Also described as a strike thrower on the mound, Luke should log some key innings for the Mustangs this spring.

OUTLOOK

The Mustangs should be better on the mound this Spring than in years past due to depth they have in the Junior and Senior Classes.  Finding 3 to 4 guys on the mound to give them consistent efforts will go a long ways to compliment their athletic lineup.

There are a few question marks with the offense this year with some guys getting their first cracks at the Varsity level at the plate.  How quickly they are able to get up to speed will be a big factor in the win/loss column for the Mustangs this Spring.
