The Kansas high school baseball season has kicked off. Over the next several weeks,  we’ll be publishing our team spotlights during the 2021 spring season, touching on programs spanning all state classifications. Perennially, we’ve submitted a Preseason Questionnaire to high school head coaches across the entire state. Their responses have been flooding in and we’re using the detailed insight they’ve provided in our team-by-team analysis.

If you would like your team covered, please have your head coach email us at [email protected]

TOP PLAYERS

Kadyn Williams SS / 2B / Emporia, KS / 2021

The switch hitting Senior shortstop and Emporia State commit will look to be an impact player this season for the Spartans.  Kadyn has a smooth swing with some pop from both sides of the plate and shows good actions in the infield with soft hands.

CAMDEN KIRMER

OF / EMPORIA, KS / 2021

ETHAN GARATE

IF / P / EMPORIA, KS / 2021

OUTLOOK

The biggest strength heading into the 2021 season according to the coaching staff is their overall depth and the return of 3 starters on offense from 2019 and two pitchers as well.
