Right-handed pitcher Brendan Stanek (’15 Blue Valley Southwest HS) has notified Prep Baseball Report of his decision to attend the University of Arkansas.  He joins fellow class of 2015 RHP Isaiah Campbell (Olathe South HS) who also recently committed to the Hogs.

The 6-foot-1, 155-pound Stanek pitched this summer and fall with the Mac N Seitz organization out of the Kansas City area.  He’s the second Mac N Seitz Class of 2015 product to commit to a Southeastern Conference school in the last month as shortstop Connor Kaiser (’15 Blue Valley West HS) recently announced he was headed to Vanderbilt.

In addition, Stanek pitched in the mid-week this fall for the Royals Elite Scout team.  Prep Baseball Report had a chance to watch him pitch a number of times this fall, including his Royals Elite Scout team outing versus Kansas City Kansas CC in September.

Stanek also pitched at the Prep Baseball Report Underclass Prospect Games in Manhattan, KS, last month.  He was the #1 ranked 2015 pitching prospect at the event.

We have a number of videos of Stanek pitching this fall, to see them click here.
