Today, we continue our rollout of uncommitted spotlights highlighting the 2021 class.

Andrew Khoury attended 2020 Scout Day: The Barn Jan. 26th. Athletically built 6-foot 185-pound right-handed hitting outfielder ran 4.46 home to first and had a 74 mph exit velocity. Ranked #103 in the state of Kansas.

Khoury is athletically built 6-foot 185-pound right-handed hitting outfielder and third baseman in Kansas’ 2021 class. He ran a 4.46 home to first and had a 74 mph exit velocity. At the plate, tall stance, slight load with hands, short in line stride, balanced and under control, repeatable, loose hand with level plane, gap to gap approach.  In the outfield, quick to the ball, works through the catch, high three quarters arm slot, 74 mph positional velocity. On the infield, high three quarters arm slot, clean transfer with fluid footwork, creates momentum through the ball, quick release, 74 mph positional velocity.

 

 

1/13/18 - Khoury is a long and lean 5-foot-11 160-pound right-handed hitting second baseman in Kansas’ 2021 class.  He ran a 4.31 home to first and has an 80 mph exit velocity. At the plate, tall stance, short stride, some hand load as he strides, body stays under control, middle to pull side contact.  In the outfield, 77 mph positional velo, plays behind and through the ball, high three quarters release, clean hand to glove transfers.  On the infield, 72 mph positional velocity, high three quarters arm slot, clean transfer, quick the ball, creates momentum with shuffle after catch.
