The Underclass Trials took place on Sunday, May 20th, at St. Thomas Aquinas high school in Hammond, LA. The open event saw 84 underclass prospects from all across the state of Louisiana in attendance. We broke down the event from a statistical view in the Stats Breakdown, which you can find HERE.

Luke Acosta 2B / SS / St. Thomas More, LA / 2020

Long-limb 5-foot-9, 135-pound frame with room to fill. Showed of quality athleticism posting a 6.72 60 yard dash. Defensively, he showed average hands with solid actions, fluid footwork, and played through balls athletically with clean, quick exchanges, posting a positional velocity of 80 mph. Josh Alexander 3B / OF / Assumption , LA / 2020

Medium 5-foot-10, 175-pound. Left-handed hitter that hits from tall open, setup, with short stride and average balance. Works closed with subtle leg lift and short stride.
