On Saturday February 16th and February 23rd PBR Maryland will host the Preseason All-State at the Harford Sports Performance Center in Forest Hill, MD. The biggest events prior to the high school season in Maryland will feature several of the top players and prospects from around the state and put them all on one stage in front of the PBR scouting staff. As with all PBR events, all players will get their performance videoed and professionally edited to update or start their PBR Profile. Today we spotlight one of the players on the roster for the event.

Scouting Report
Mid-Atlantic Challenge 11/4/2018
Compact frame at 5-foot-9, 165-pounds. Shows a nice compact delivery with tempo and high leg kick. Works down-to-out with a slight drop-n-drive lower half. Gets nice lower half involvement from this to release, like to see it continue through. Has a sound arm action throwing from an over the top slot. Creates quick arm speed while hiding the ball very well against hitters. Falls off slightly towards thrid base after release. Fastball jumped at hitters with later life up to 81 on the day. Breaking ball showed 12/6 shape with tight rotation and later action on the pitch up to 68 mph. Showed a nice shorter biting slider up to 71 mph. Change showed fade and potential at 71 mph. good feel for his mix of pitches and it showed in game.
MD Unsigned Senior Games 8.7.18
Athletic body type and 5-foot-9, 165 pound frame. Smooth rhythm and controlled wind-up and delivery. Gets to a tall balance point. Strong down to out lower half drive with a slight pause at separation. Lands square with an athletic finish. Long arm action throwing from a high three-quarter slot. Fastball was 78-81 mph with some arm side run. Curveball showed gradual 1/7 shape at 66-70 mph and slider was 73-75 mph with tight, sharp 2/8 action.
