Scouting Report:
 Kessler is a physical 6-foot-2 215-pound left-handed hitting catcher.  At the late, Kessler has an advanced approach with quick bat speed. He has no wasted movement in his load, starts open with a small stride, and making solid consistent contact.  He has an 84 mph exit velo and showed power to the pull gap, rans a 7.96 60.  At third base, Kessler has a 75 mph positional velo, makes accurate throws, with quick feet, gaining ground towards target. Behind the plate, Kessler has quick actions in both feet and hands with a clean transfer from glove to hand.  He has momentum towards second base as the throws, with mostly accurate throws.  He posted a 73 mph positional velo with pop times between 2.03 and 2.12, some of the best times Underclass Games in June.

Kessler hit .349 last spring for the Falcons, cranking seven doubles, one home run and driving in 22 runs.

The Future Games will take place on July 30 - Aug 1 (Thursday-Saturday) at Grand Park, a state-of-the-art 22-field baseball complex located in Westfield, IN, just north of Indianapolis. The Prep Baseball Report Future Games is the premier summer scouting event for Class of 2017 prospects and select 2018 prospects. Last year, more than 110 colleges from all over the country were in attendance.
