Scouting Report:
Hunter is a 5-foot-10 180-pound left-handed pitcher from Clayton in the St. Louis area.  Hunter has quick arm speed,  and releases at high three-quarters.  He throws with easy effort, smooth rhythm, and touched 85 mph with fastball.  He has a 1-to-7 shape curveball, at 63-67 mph,  and a change-up with occasional sink, at 68-70 mph. His has a strong, athletic build with easy arm action, and able to repeat delivery. Hunter is strike thrower with a three-pitch mix.

Hunter was 7-2 this spring, working 66 innings with 93 strikeouts and and 25 walks.  He finished with a 1.06 ERA and was the pitcher to knock off Westminster in the state playoffs. Westminster has previously won four-straight state championships.

This one-of-a-kind event will feature the best uncommitted Class of 2017 prospects from our 20-plus state coverage area. The Future Games will take place on July 30 - Aug 1 (Thursday-Saturday) at Grand Park, a state-of-the-art 22-field baseball complex located in Westfield, IN, just north of Indianapolis. The Prep Baseball Report Future Games is the premier summer scouting event for Class of 2017 prospects and select 2018 prospects. Last year, more than 110 colleges from all over the country were in attendance.
