Outlook
Coach Chris Basil and the East Union Urchins showcased a talented team in 2017 losing only 10 games, and will return a lot of young talent in 2018. With a solid core of juniors, two-way players Cade Bell, Joel Wilkinson and Josh Basil are primed to lead the Urchins through the 2018 campaign. Bell, Wilkinson and Basil combined in 2017 for 113 strikeouts finishing the season with a team ERA of 2.55. Offensively, this group of juniors will carry the load for the Urchins, looking to improve on the impressive numbers from their 2017 campaign.
