Randleman Cruises to 9-1 Victory

The #3 Ranked Randleman Tigers hosted the Asheboro Blue Comets on Thursday Night March 17th. The Tigers game in with a record of 6-0 with the Blue Comets at 3-2. 

The Tigers struck first, scoring two runs in the second. They would extend their lead adding three runs in the fifth. Brooks Brannon put the game away from good by hitting a grand slam over the wall in left center. Asheboro’s only run would come in the top of the seventh on a solo blast from Gage Miller. 

The depth throughout the Randleman lineup stood out throughout the night with opportunities to have several big innings. Drake Purvis was dominant on the mound only allowing 2 hits and striking out 14.
