Millbrook jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first behind a Carson Wright double. Apex charged back putting 3 runs on the board in the visitor half of the 4th inning. Cowan Myers took the win for the Wildcats allowing 4 hits and 3 runs across 3 2/3 innings. Tate Tomlinson was the hard luck pitcher for the Cougars, giving up 5 runs on 7 hits in 3 innings of work.

ECU commit. Physical and athletic frame. 6-foot-2, 175 lbs. Right handed hitter. Wide stance in the box, finds barrel often and creates loud pop. Takes quick routes to the ball, arm carries well with good accuracy.

Hayden Heath, OF, Millbrook HS, 2025
Smaller frame with strength present. Stands 5-foot-8, 140 pounds. Smooth balanced  left handed swing with good power, and advanced speed on the base paths w/ twitch present. Aggressive in the outfield. Very agile and moves well to make hard plays look easy with a strong arm.

UNC Asheville commit. Athletic in a 5-foot-11, 170 pound frame.  Right handed hitter. Toe tap load w/ slightly high hands , gets on plane and drives the gaps. Good bat speed. At SS showed exceptional range, and footwork, plays through the ball with above average arm and good accuracy.
