RECENT EVENT HISTORY
2019 NYS State Games (6/25/19)
A physical 5-foot-10, 185 pounds projectable frame. Ran a 7.68 in the 60 yard dash. Offensively- Stands in the box in a tall stance. Uses a slight leg lift for timing and balance before attacking the baseball. Has loose hands and displayed hard consistent contact to the middle of the field. Good use of lower half. Top exit velocity was 92 MPH. Defensively- Gets in a low wide base when fielding the baseball. Moves well laterally. Has a smooth exchange and throws from a mid ¾ arm slot. Top throwing velocity was 77 MPH. The 2020 graduate has some upside and is a must follow.
WHAT TO EXPECT
"Impressed by Cutaia's short stroke back at the NYS Games in June; the contact is solid and we feel that there is additional power on the way with personal best 96 MPH raw exit velocity. Handles himself well around the bag and if he can improve on his overall footspeed in the long term he could possibly anchor a corner OF spot to keep his bat in the lineup."
