With the 2016 spring season right around the corner, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage throughout the entire state.

Starting February 1st, we began releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into the Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings.

2016 Spring Team Preview: Toronto Red Knights

Team Name: Toronto Red Knights
Head Coach: Brian Perkins
Division: IV
2015 Record: 24-3
Conference Record: OVAC
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 9/6

2016 Team Strengths:

• Leadership
• Lineup Depth
• Experience
• Speed

2016 Team Weaknesses:

• Challenging Schedule

Coach Outlook: "Coming off a 20-8 season, we were subject to the loss of eight seniors. Many of those eight made significant contributions to our success. Despite that fact, we have had a strong JV program the last several years and many of those guys are itching to step up. There is a lot of support and enthusiasm behind our program. Coach Downing has helped shape a great situation to step into especially with myself (Coach Muklewicz) already being involved the past five years. The kids know what I expect from them and how serious my approach is to the game."

PBR Outlook: After a 24-3 campaign in 2015, the expectations are even higher in 2016. There is talent from top to bottom for the Red Knights and coach Brian Perkins is challenging his team during the regular season with a challenging schedule in hopes for big things come tournament time.
