With the 2018 spring season right around the corner, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage throughout the entire state. Starting mid-January, we began releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into the Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings.

Head Coach: Jeff Mielcarek
Division: I
2017 Record: 15-11
Conference Record: Three Rivers Athletic Conference, 8-6, 4th
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 5/4
Team Strengths:
Coach Outlook: “Moving to division 1 (smallest D 1 school in Ohio) will offer a challenge for us. We have a solid Junior class of players returning and some seniors that will be counted on heavily despite some with limited playing time. Very excited about the opportunities which are in front of this group.”
PBR Outlook: A move to division I, and being the smallest school in division I will be a challenge for head coach Jeff Mielcarek and the Fighting Irish. That said, the Irish have talent and will be a fun team to watch all year.
